Less and Less Time

I have less than 24 hours to go before my driving test ^_^
I am soooo nervous, but also soooo excited!
Everyone's told me I'll do fine, which has helped with the nerves a lot, so now I'm just sort of... I don't know... conservatively confident?

On the other hand, I'm still sick, but meh... I actually managed to sleep last night, which has significantly improved my predisposition towards the whole sickness thing. The only annoying thing now is that my sense of taste is all fucked up, and my beautiful, wonderful, fantastic, excellent mother is making Apricot Chicken and Chicken Rice for dinner... which I may not be able to taste properly *bursts into tears*. Oh, that and the constant coughing, sneezing, husky voice, sore muscles and stiff neck :P

But Oh wells!

Oh ya, and I called in sick for work today because of the aforementioned sickness and because yesterday nearly killed me, But Chevvy was fine with it, because lets face it, I only call in sick when I'm sick, and this is like the second or third sick day I've called in all year, so yeah, I didn't even have to talk to the boss, but I'll take them my doctors cert next week and all shall be shiny in my happy little world.

Speaking of shiny, my friend has finally given me back my Firefly DVD, and I've been watching, and God do I love that show, and I actually caught myself saying "I'm shiny, thanks" to the customers when they were asking me if I was okay yesterday, which really rather amused me.

I just off the phone, and I have some happy news!
One of my friends is coming over from Sydney in a couple of weeks, and we shall laugh and dance, and be friendlike in a delighted manner!
Well...
I spose its really only exciting for me, but who gives a fuck really...
I spose Sweden will be all haughty about it, but that'll just make the situation more hilarious!

I've finished watching Firefly for a while and now I'm watching Gilmore Girls, because, well... August was mah bathing month. I'm also pretty happy with the Sea Eagles win over the Storm! The eviscerated them, 40 - 0, it was a fantastic slaughter to behold by all accounts, a bit bummed I missed it really... but oh well!
